Lord Mayor's Show Day Tours

Free guided walks led by City of London Guides

The City of London is amazing  and its official City Guides will help you discover its delights. The City, also known as the Square Mile, is the financial heart of London. It’s been central to British history for centuries, and contains historic buildings from many ages. Your guide will take you to fascinating places and tell stories of people, events and traditions connected with the City, including the Lord Mayor’s Show

Tours start straight after the Lord Mayor's Show, at 3pm, from No. 1 Poultry, EC2R 8EJ and last about 90 minutes

Tours will be leaving at regular intervals until 4pm

There’s no need to book - just turn up - and the walks are free, but we’d welcome a donation to the new Lord Mayor’s Appeal.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday 13 November 2021

We offer daily walks around the City of London

Our daily walks run from the City Information Centre, just south of St Paul's. You need to book via Eventbrite to secure you place.

Note: the cut-off time for booking our daily walks is 21:00hrs the night before. If we don't have any bookings then the walk will not take place.

Illuminated Bridges

In addition, in the evening you can take a stroll along the river to admire London's bridges, now beautifully lit thanks to the Illuminated River Project. Find out more here

Private tours

If you would like to organise your own walk, lecture or a virtual tour, then please use our Find a Guide section. If you're a member of an Arts Society or a U3A group we'd love to take you on a tour of the City. And if you're a company based in the City who would like to organise a social event for your work colleagues, why not book an evening walk with us? As guides we know where all the good pubs are!

If you've been on a walk recently we'd love to hear from you. Why not leave a review on our TripAdvisor page?

Note: We try to make our walks as inclusive and accessible as possible.
