Biography

Sarah is an accredited City Of London Guide, a Green Badge Guide, and a qualified brewer. A born and bred Londoner with a passion for the past, she hosts walking tours of the Square Mile with a particular focus on the fascinating history of London’s drinking and pub scene. Her ‘London Untapped’ tours uncover the history of the city through it’s pubs, inns and taverns, visiting famous sites alongside often undiscovered gems. The Square Mile is home to 200 drinking establishments and over 2,000 years of history including plots, plagues, politics, a cork-popping parrot and the invention of IPA. London’s pub history provides a unique picture of the past of our beloved capital. When not brewing or guiding, Sarah works for Art Fund, the UK charity that protects and enriches the country’s museums and art galleries.
