Hi, I am Bella and I am a City Guide and Green Badge Holder. I am passionate about history and the City of London. I was a history teacher for years and used to love taking the children on trips. Bringing to life the wonders of this city. The people that used to live here and loved and worked in these streets. The extraordinary joy of turning a corner and seeing a plaque commemorating someone like Elizabeth Fry or a Wren Church that has survived the centuries and tells us about the redoubtable spirit of the people that lived here and the importance of everyone's story. From the monarchs, to the livery companies, to the people that ran the stalls and markets, to the poets and singers and writers who were inspired by this city. Where else can you find the legend of Spring Heeled Jack rubbing shoulders with the likes of Dickens? I would be thrilled to take you on a journey around the most amazing City - the City of London.
