I am a retired Chartered Surveyor having spent many years managing Royal Mail's property portfolio in London and the South of England. It was whilst working in the City of London that my passion for it's history and beautiful buildings grew and grew. Many a lunchtime was spent exploring new streets and alleyways, pushing Church doors to see if they would open and trying out the pubs!!
Allow me to share my knowledge of this wonderful City and it's many secrets with you, how it was created by the Romans, how it uniquely governs and finances itself, how it rebuilt itself following the Great Fire of London and the Blitz, along with its ancient Livery Companies and plethora of Churches.
The City of London - the City that keeps giving, there is no other like it, love it and never tire of it.
