Discover Official Walks & Talks

Local London Guiding Day 7 October

Local London Guiding Day is an annual event when for one day only professional guiding associations across London joint together to provide a day of free, guided walks.  This year, six associations are involved with a range of walks showcasing their areas.  Walks are a maximum of one hour and set off on the hour from 10am - 4.00pm in each area,  so you can do more than one over the day.

THE CITY OF LONDON WALK

Shaping the City

Saturday 7 October 2023, 10am to 4pm

Discover the people who have shaped the City with their influences on architecture, equality, charity and more.

Along the way we’ll enjoy a reflective look at St Paul’s Cathedral; meet some movers and shakers from the City’s market quarter; hear about a Member of Parliament whom the citizens found to be rather refreshing, visit an iconic church whose story is more than just its architect and a pantomime character whose name might ring a bell.

Free hourly tours from 10:00hrs to 16:00hrs (last tour)

Meeting point: Outside Exit 2 of St Paul's Tube station (Look for the Co-op)

End point: Bank Junction

You can book your place here or simply turn up and join the tour as we hold extra places for people who miss the booking deadline.
