Local London Guiding Day is an annual event when for one day only professional guiding associations across London joint together to provide a day of free, guided walks. This year, five associations are involved with a range of walks showcasing their areas. Walks are a maximum of one hour and set off on the hour from 10am - 4.00pm in each area, so you can do more than one over the day.
Every October, on Local London Guiding Day, guiding associations across London offer free guided walks.
In the City of London this year's theme is How the Past Shapes the City
See how history still quietly runs the show: a 17th century Wren tower that still shapes modern architecture; ancient livery companies with a role today; a Roman influenced 1990s floor plan; why we still use medieval street names.

Walks take place on the hour from 10am to 4pm. Each walk lasts no more than sixty minutes thus giving you time to go on other tours across London.
