Discover Official Walks & Talks

Great War Heroes of the City

On 11 November 1918 the guns fell silent, signalling the end of the First World War. Find out how the City coped with the loss and tragedy and discover the first UK memorial to the Great War.

Walk in the footsteps of the first ‘Pals Battalions’ and learn of the brave deeds of the City’s Regiments.

£10 (£8 concessions)

No booking required, just turn up at the City Visitor Centre, south of St Paul's Cathedral, at 3pm on any Tuesday or Thursday from Tuesday 9 October until Thursday 8 November 2018.

From Sunday 20 December 2020 we're suspending our walks

Sadly we've had to stop our walks once again, following the latest government guidelines. We hope to restart them in 2021 as soon as we can.

Virtual Walks and Talks

We are pleased to be working in partnership with the Temple Bar Trust.   You are invited to join us for series of live-broadcast, virtual walks around the City. The series includes the fascinating history of Temple Bar, Paternoster Square, St Pauls, the life, and work of Sir Christopher Wren and some of the wonderful but often overlooked statues and sculptures nearby.  Find out more and book here: https://templebartrust.org/walks

Note: We try to make our walks as inclusive and accessible as possible.

If you want a walk or lecture for a group of people, then please use our Find a Guide section.
