Every Wednesday until October 28th.
Following a carefully planned route in a small group using social distancing and technology to give you the best experience. There will be stories, theatre, history, tales of shipbuilders, pilgrims, London's first female mayor and the City's oldest church all in the space of this guided tour in and out of the City.
You will travel through the centuries between Southwark and all Hallows by the Tower, to spend some free time in the City with its iconic architecture, open cafes and shops. You will be able to look and linger crowd-free at Trinity Square Gardens with its memorials, the execution site on Tower Hill, see Samuel Pepys in Seething Lane or Roman remains - all within a few minutes of where you arrive in the City.
You will then regroup with your Guide for the return walk to Southwark and a host of other stories and discoveries.
The walks in and out take around 45 minutes- 1 hour including stopping to look at things along the way. You will have around 1 hour free time in the City.
Very limited spaces which MUST be booked in advance. Reserve your place here.
The safety of our guests and guides is paramount.
All Guides follow the Institute of Tourist Guiding (ITG) Covid-19 Guidance for Tour Guiding.
Unless you are exempt, please have a face mask/covering with you. The entire walk will be outside, but you may want to go into a shop, historic church or use public transport or you may wish to wear it for the entire walk.
We will be using technology (free) to help with social distancing and make sure you don't miss out on any of the information - your booking confirmation will have full details.
Your booking contact details will be used for Track and Trace purposes.
If, on the day, you feel at all unwell please cancel your place.
You will get a booking confirmation and then a reminder with full details.
