Samuel Pepys, City churches, General city tour, Great Fire of London.
As a walking tour guide I am constantly amazed by how much there is to learn about the City of London. Our modern City sits on 2,000 years of history. Romans, Vikings and Normans have trodden these streets. Henry VIII, Dick Whittington and William Shakespeare were all here, among countless others. London has been a city of trade, immigration, culture, wealth and politics for centuries. There are mediaeval livery halls, execution sites, Wren churches, statues and monuments. If you know where to look they can still be found amidst the dynamic modern architecture.
I love to research the stories and secrets of the Londoners who were here before us, so I can share them with you.

I'm not a Cockney, but technically I could claim to be as I was born within the sound of Bow bells.
