These are two-hour guided tours of the award-winning historic gardens and churchyards of the City of London - spring bulbs, summer flowers or autumn colour, together with fascinating history.
The walks take place from the beginning of April to the end of October on Saturdays and Sundays and Monday Public Holidays. They start at 1.30pm (13.30) from the City of London Visitor Information Centre opposite St. Paul's Cathedral.
The dates of the 2016 public holidays are: 2nd May, 30th May and 28th August.
There is no need to book, just turn up and introduce yourself to the guide, who will be in front of the Information Centre and will be wearing his/her official badge. The cost of the walk is £8 for each person, but free for children under 12 (when accompanied by an adult).
At the end of the walk your guide will help you with directions to public transport or to your destination.
Nearly all the regular walks and tours offered on this website are just turn up and pay or free. For these walks no advanced booking is possible. There are only a few tours that need to be booked in advance (Smithfield Market, Leadenhall Market walks and Guildhall and the Roman Bath House tours) because of restricted numbers.
