Biography

BIOGRAPHY

I was born in London and am a City of London resident.

I have been a City Guide since 2009 and lead walks that take their themes from my wide-ranging interest in art, architecture and design from 1800 to the present day.

Other themes come from my practical involvement in helping increase the biodiversity of the City as a volunteer in the Barbican Estate's Fann Street Wildlife Garden and as a Friend of City Parks & Gardens.

Before I retired in 2008 I was a Lecturer in Culture, Policy & Management at City University and from 1994 to 2005 I worked in the V&A Education Department as Higher Education Events Organiser and was responsible for the Museum's programme of study days and academic conferences.
